• Measure your dog starting from top of front leg. (Refer to diagram above).
• Chart showing breeds are for dogs who are of average size for that breed.
• If your dog is between a measurement use the smaller size. i.e. 8 – 8 1/2” use the medium.
• Please remember to adjust the straps as the mutt chap should fit loosely.
*NOTE* – THE BREEDS LISTED HERE ARE JUST FOR REFERENCE TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF SIZE.
IF YOU DON’T SEE YOUR BREED, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE PRODUCT WON’T FIT THEM.
1. Put Collar strap (A) on first.
2. See diagram for placemen t of straps B & C.
Snap strap C together then strap B to prevent dog from stepping on chap.
3. Adjust straps B & C so that you can comfortably fit two fingers under strap.
4. Adjust collar strap to fit comfortably on dog to preven t sagging.
This is a loose fit without sagging.
Note: It is better to go smaller than larger in order for the flaps to hang under the animal rather than off towards the side.
If your dog is narrow in the chest, the Mutt Chap gathering between the front legs is normal and will not affect product use.
WARNING: When dogs are playing and romping with each other remove the Mutt Chap to prevent accidents.
